Event: London Competition for Traditional Tai Chi Chuan 2018

This coming Sunday 10 June 2018 brings the annual London Competition for Traditional Tai Chi Chuan which will be held at the Clissold Leisure Centre, Stoke Newington (see map below for directions).

Some of our students will be competing, so it will be great if you can come along to support them and enjoy the day out watching some taiji (Wu style, Chen style, Cheng Man-Ching, Yang style, Wudang, & of course Zhao Bao style).

The competition comprises of the form: hand, sabre, spear, fan, sword; hand forms; health qi gong; and, group form. Competitors will be divided into adults and juniors (5-16 years). For most the standing and moving push hands will be a highlight which is exceptionally competitive. You can see some of last year’s competition in our gallery.

The day begins at 9am and finishes at 6pm. There is a £5 entrance fee for spectators. See you there!
