Happy New Year 2022

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year 2022 and looking forward to more new experiences.

Despite the situation with covid, we have managed to continue training in 2021 by running our online classes; both Master Liu and students having to adapt to different ways of learning and within limited space for training.

Also in 2021, our new Chen style classes started online before moving to physical face to face classes. Now that our first set of students have completed learning Lao Jia Chen form as broad movements, they will now be scrutinised and refine their knowledge (according to Master Liu’s precision… which may take a while to please…)

Our students of Zhao Bao style can be happy that they have attained more Gong Li and reached a higher level of their training – of course the goal post moves as we are told what is next that we have to work on! We can’t rest on our laurels of course, Master Liu will definitely not allow us to.

We are still currently running our classes face to face (fingers crossed that there will not be more restriction to prevent us from doing this). Normal class time table starts on the Monday Bank Holiday, 3 January 2022 at 7pm.

For now ENJOY and hoping to see more of you in our classes; “drink tea eat biscuits!”

Here is a calligraphy piece from one of our students – Happy New Year!
